We launched our World Book Day celebrations on Thursday with a special assembly. There was great excitement when the children were surprised with a special video....from the Derrylatinee Masked Readers!
The children listened to each character read their special story and were challenged to guess which staff members were behind the mask!! Plenty of giggles were had....and all will be revealed next week!!
The children engaged in lots of other activities throughout the day and loved pairing up with different classes to share their favourite books that they had brought into school.
