Today we completed an experiment to understand how things change over time. We watched how the coloured water from 2 glasses travelled through the kitchen roll to an empty glass. Next, we added food colouring to some vegetable oil and added it to water. We watched the oil rise to the top, but the colour sank to the bottom of the glass. Finally, we added food colouring to milk and watched as the colours moved away from the cotton buds covered in washing up liquid. The children loved this experiment and their language development was amazing!
