The children in P2/3 have made a great start to their topic with Miss Donnelly by looking at the Chinese New Year and how it is celebrated. We welcomed Jessica and Jervis from The Super Bowl Chinese Take Away in Aughnacloy into our classroom to talk to us about Chinese food and to tell us more about Chinese traditions during the New Year. They showed us how to make spring rolls and then the children had a go! We tasted some yummy food too!!
The children are really enjoying the topic so far and are very excited to learn more about China in the coming weeks!😃
